Emperor's Furor Posted September 25, 2013 Share Posted September 25, 2013 Not Dark Angels unfortunately :/ The chapter formerly known as Angels Resplendent and now known as Angels Penitent are Blood Angels successors, up until their chapter name change they hadn't succumbed to the Black Rage at all and wore blue and gold armour, after a figure called the Undying Martyr comes to the fortress monastery and convinces the chaplains of a deep truth, they begin to think everything is a sin and everyone is a sinner, they get rid of the Librarius, adopt the new motto of "The Emperor Condemns!" and paint their armour black with umber streaks, they also begin to suffer from the Black Rage. The Chapter Master is presumed missing with the first company as they've had no contact with them for ages. This is all from the short story "The Crown of Thorns", The Crown of Thorns is actually the council of chaplains that now rules the chapter.
