Emperor's Furor

Couldn't sleep, they are releasing Vehicles of the Adeptus Astartes 2 and he said that the marines could use these vehicles as relics, now whether he meant in apoc games or in general I'm not sure as it was very briefly skipped over in favour of the HH stuff.

I was quite angry indeed too.

I :cuss 'd about it when a dude wanted a fire raptor for 40k and then tried to tell me I was a bad person.

They'zz stealin' my precious!!!

Instead of hey, lets just make this legal in the first place and make legion lists legal, they just have to pick out the best pieces for themselves

thats the whole thing about why I switched to HH. Game balance (and fluff/models)

/rant over/

Well no one wants to verse me using a legion list so I have the shame as fielding my WE as &$@?!£€ blood angels :/

Ha thats why I had flesh tearers because they aren't prancing fairys

At least Amit fought in the pits with Bloodspitter ("Everybody knows Bloodspitter' ;) )

They were a combination of Khrav magan dirty shots consisting of but not limited to: knees to the groin, spit blood in the eyes, tripping, lunch money stealing, and cockblocking at the club.

I said that I liked the existence of the fluff (and setting) distinctions, yes. And that I'd like (on behalf of all of you guys!) for Forge World just turn Horus Heresy into a game system of it's own.

Neither of those precludes me wanting your precious, precious sweetmeats.

And by sweetmeats, I mean models.

And by models, I mean... Actually, I'm not really sure what I want from the Heresy...

@Disruptor: Well, here's the biggest beef that fluff bunnies like me are going to have with all Heresy tech being available to 40K. Part of the Imperium's schpiel in 40K, is that it has been on a technological incline for the last ten thousand years and they have fallen hard and are still falling harder.

Now, I realize that there can still be a lot of tech that makes it to 40K based on sheer numbers. But if literally everything that is "Heresy era tech" makes it to 40K, than how is the fluff not being trampled? IIRC, the only Legions left don't even have access to more than one type of Land Raider because the designs didn't survive. And they're ones who are innovating technology rather than losing it!

So yes, those of us who retreated to 30K to escape the horror of a happy 40K are not happy that the edge separating Grimdark 30K from Teletubby 40K are getting thinner.

Its better if you pretend 40K doesn't even exist and those people at your LGS are playing the equivalent of Fantasy.

Don't begrudge 40K players for buying 30K stuff, its all capital for FW to keep rolling out the goodies for the people who can't take having everything they loved about their chapter ruined in three lines of text.

I agree on the technological decline thing. But somehow, 40k Astartes have things that don't exist in 30k. It's a very weird disconnect.

But ultimately, new shiny will always rule my wallet. If only 30k had room for DIY colour schemes...

Stop. Please, stop. Tell me these are all lies. If not then I'm just going to have to give up my last shred of dignity and self-esteem and just build Ultramarines. (eyes widen in cartoon fashion) Yes, Ultras! 40K FOREVER!!! Shiny... happy... Guilliman, I choose YOU!!! wub.png

(kill meeeeee)

You're right. Maybe it's a fence, a wall, a moat, no man's land, a cliff or anything else you shouldn't try to cross. :p

We get leeway in how we paint our colors. The shades, the markings. Other than that, likely it is in pauldrons, shields or banners. Places where personal heraldries can be placed.

Actually, 30K can. Nothing says there cannot be variant colo schemes within a Legion, as far as I know.

I'm personally of the belief that all of the 2nd founding chapter icons were company/chapter/special organization nicknames and  heraldry that marines would wear in addition to their legion icon.  So nothing wrong with making an army like, the Ultramarine 21st Company "The Praetors of Orpheus" or the Raven Guard 8th Company "The Black Guard"
