how to make rocket launcher magazine

Recommended Posts

Hello I would like some ideas on how to make a rocket launcher magazine on the new rocket launchers. As I really like the old ones that had magazine and did not need reloading  every shot.    Here's my chapter http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/topic/277797-blood-hounds/?do=findComment&comment=3408652

You could try something like this maybe?

Alternatively, if you look at the old second-edition ML Devastators, you can see that they had a longer version of the current ML which was fed by a similar magazine from below - this would be pretty easy to do with the little 3-missile bit that comes in the Tac Squad box, a few thin strips of card/plastic, and a little bit of tubing to extend the ML tube itself. Pic of the 2nd Ed ML here.

Well, yes but I do not have any RT era missile launcher.  If I did I would use them.   Now I have to figure how to bend the missiles from the tac box.  Since they are bent look like they are on the marines side.

I think if you built up a small rack around the three missiles they would look okay. That they are curved would make them look stacked (in a bit of a zig-zag rather than perfectly vertical) in the rack.

That could then be modelled atop the launcher a-la Heathens' one.

...It was more intended to show the location and style fo the magazine. Missiles can be made from anything really - even plastic rod sharpened with a file. The point of the suggestion was to provide some ideas (which is what you asked for), not a step-by-step tutorial.

Anyway, good luck with your project.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. Anyway think I will try to build a rack on the top. Also if you check my chapter I might have pics of some of my marines in like 40000 years.
