Primarch miniatures release list

Ok, so basically the Primarch release list goes something like:

Angron

Fulrgim

Ferrus Manus

Lorgar

Horus

Corax (unconfirmed)

Mortarian (unconfirmed)

IS ANY ONE ELSE PISSED OFF ABOUT ENTRIES 5 AND 6?????

I think FW should stop releasing whatever grabs their attention, and release in order.

Eg: Mortarion should have been before Ferrus Manus, and Horus should have been released last with the Emperor as a final fangasm explosion, and the Raven guard haven't even been released yet.

Any thoughts on this?

Well, by my math(which is heavily suspect), it seems the bundles form Forgeworld save about 12-30~ish percent. So, if they continue to follow that, then the whole bundle set of Primarchs should actually be around GBP 757.38 to 933.33~ish.

Please. do doublecheck my math.

Terminator bundle GBP 176.00

Individual pieces GBP 244.00(Roughly 28% savings)

Tactical bundle GBP 160

Individual GBP 180(Roughly 12% savings)

apparently they are intending on doing those who transform within the Heresy itself, so Angron, Fulgrim and Morty will get a daemon version, Magnus might and Horus likely will as he's the key bad guy - I'd say they're probably going to be the same price tbh. 55 quid still aint cheap.

I see it being entirely possible that they will release several renditions of many (if not all) primarchs. Obviously demon versions would be sweet, but also certain ones like Alpharious/Omegon could warrant multiples as well as ones like Horus in various stages of corruption, kind of like how they are releasing SOH models lately looking more chaos-ified with horns/spikes. At least, my hope is for multiples and with a rumoured 3 trilogies planned there's a plenty large time frame.

Okay, so since it seems there is some confusion on the order, I checked out one of the blogs. According to Battle Bunnies, the order will be

Primarch no 6 is apparently going to be Corax. This will tie in with the release of book 3 Extermination in April (so hopefully at the next Forge World Open Day).

Primarch no 7 is going to be Mortarion (about time too!). He will be released around July time at the Horus Heresy Weekender (which the Bunnies will be going to again). Count the 7!!!

Primarch no 8 should be Leman Russ. This will tie in with Inferno (yes the name for Book 4 - I would have preferred Razing) which will be released at Gamesday 2014. It would make a lot of sense to have one of the most popular Primarchs (and my favourite) appear at the biggest 40k spending holiday of the year.

Primarch no 9 will be Magnus and could come around at the same time for their Duel (he could be 2014's Lorgar - and get released November 2014.

So yeah, Mortarion won't be the only one out of whack. And to be honest, I can live with that. As long as farther away translates to fantastic sculpt(which judging by the snapshots of Horus, its a definite possibility) I'll be happy when Curze finally shows up. Besides, I'll be collecting the Primarchs for posterity so I'm not exactly in a hurry to get things done, I rush and rush into life's no fun. All you gotta is live and die - Sorry. The song popped into my head.

Thats exactly my point. Like now Mortarion is coming after a primarch who doesnt even have his legion rules yet? Im not saying stay to a strict times table, but just do them in a way that makes sense

They are doing what makes sense. Sculpting is art and art flows at the whims of inspiration and motivation. Force a piece to come out when its not ready, when the sculptor isn't in the right mindset to create what is needed, then you will get a shoddy product.

Forgeworld is hammering out quality products with the promise of more to come. Learn some patience.
