Primarch miniatures release list

Guilliman is obligatory for me. Beyond that is a toss up. I know I won't get more than 2 or 3, but I'd definitely like to get a Russ. I love Leman. wub.png

And that sneak of Horus is very convincing. I'm sure he'll be one of the best.

EDIT: And I'll add that Curze is turning out to be one my favorite Traitor Primarchs, so hopefully his model is suitably equal parts gruesome/awesome.

He probably will...the spikier Horus, though. Chorus.

Anyway, it is as Noctus said: Primarchs, unlike the other minis, are as much an artistic piece as a commercial product (or close to). Constrain their creation too much and you wind up with a pressured sculptor who'll likely rush some parts of the mini.

With three models already released, Simon Egan has managed to, all in all, keep the same standard of excellence for all of them, expecially in attention to detail. It's remarkable.

Better to wait for an excelent thing than get a good one right away, usually.

He will, Horus will never lose his talent as a soprano.

Being the ecletic type, though, he'll also come with a chaotic guitar so he can do an amazing solo while the Emperor bleeds from the eyes and tries to differentiate the black-plated, spike, fur and skin-covered behemoth beating him to death from his son.

Were have you seen a mini of Lorgar?

The completed mini was shown at Games Day. There's also pics of a painted Lorgar as well.

The mini looks better without the paintjob.

Its amazingly well sculpted, but he's just too static and uninteresting compared to the others. I get how he's meant to be the kind of primarch who would be standing patiently waiting for you to pull the first blow, but he should still be moving a bit I think.

Some primarchs are unstoppable forces.  Some are immovable objects.  Dorn, all but demands a pose so static that he look more like a statue than living being.  Guilleman and Perturabo should be intently studying a drafting table or hololith, with Magnus staring off into the infinity that this the Great Ocean.  Lion stands, en garde, patiently waiting for his opponent to make a misstep that opens a gap to kill.  Curze and Curax could be mirrors of each other, one stalking the shadows and the other pouncing from them.  Vulkan and Mortarion stomp forward as the unstoppable forces in contrast with Dorn's immovable object, with Khan and Russ in mid-strike like Fulgrim and Ferrus Manus.  Hopefully Sanguinus is posed in the impact crater he made when he arrived on the surface of Melchoir at the beginning of Fear to Tread.

I'll be kind of let down if all of them are in the "yelling while swinging a weapon" pose, but while I'd expect that from GW Prime, the FW sculptors seem to have far more vision than that.

By the way, am I the only one expecting (or hoping) to see Sanguinus have the option to move as a Swooping Flying Monstrous Creature?
