Heresy Era World Eaters

Here i present my World Eaters.

I plan to put them in their Legion colours but show more of a side devoted to Khorne. So after the defeat on terra and before skalathrax. I'm not sure if im right on the money on this in terms of fluff but it's a good modelling opportunity smile.png.

i'll be using the chaos marine codex with future plans on using FW betrayal with Angron if i can find an opponent.

Heavy use on FW models with conversions of the GW kits. So far i have one zerker squad that's about 95% done and i converted a Khârn. Would like your thoughts on him... not 100% about the arms. i want him bigger than an average marine... maybe i've been looking at him too long and have grown accustomed to the finished piece.

In the next couple of weeks i plan to do a FW order to get my army up to the 2k mark. Basically going full theme here with zerkers and Khârn, contemptor, a couple jump pack squads and a couple of spartan assault tanks... CC to obviously outweigh long range shooting.

anyway, let me know what you think...

Done my first Berzerker. Real rough just so i can get the colours on and bring it to fruition. Not Happy on the white. any pointers to make it more crisp? do i lay off the washes completely? I knew coming into heresy era world eaters that i'd have trouble with white armor. I do'nt own an air brush either so any advice on white would be great :)http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o238/JoeCobra/IMG_2353_zps981b93b9.jpg

very nice.  For my worldeaters I prime them white.  Then I wash them with Vallejo Smoke.  Its strong but easy to water down.  a little goes a long way.  Then just highlight back up with white add battle damage and blood.  if you like the "bathed in blood" look like i do, minimal highlighting goes a long way.  Most of it is covered in red gore by the end anyways. :)

basically lots of assembling done. pretty happy with my
berzerkers so far. got the scheme and process down to how i like it. still need
some finer tuning but that will progress over time.

They look great to me, especially Khârn. The white looks fine to me, although I have seen it suggested that a very pale off white is easier to paint and will still look pure white to the human eye on a finished mini (while leaving the option of highlighting true white on edges if desired).
