infyrana Posted October 8, 2013 Share Posted October 8, 2013 After a little more collating of my SM's, I'm undecided on what I should build from the available marine parts I have. Here's what I have to play with and make up my mind to start building: - x5 MkIII Iron armoured marines. (not looking to magnetise these as I lack spare arms/pads, need to be new edition(s) keepers) - x5 MkVI marines with armoured torso. (BT MkVI looking torso with logo filed off) - x10 MkVI marines. Question: What can / would you do with these given the following information ? My initial thoughts? x5 MkIII Honour with 4x plasma guns plus the SPriest (optional Razorback). x5 MkVI Sternguard with combi-plasma and plasma - Or - Devs with 4x HBolter (for looks and to use my HB's) - Or - custom sang guard (odd I know). x10 MkVI Sternguard with mixed combi-plasma and combi-melta, and 2x plasma gun (what combination mix I have no idea). I have jump packs and backpacks for all models so I can magnetise them to jumpers np. I also have plenty of ranged and CCW options including most specials (everything except Grav weapons and heavy flamers). My army as it stands? 30x DC (magnetised jump/backpacks/assorted specials). 2x full tactical squads both with ML and melta. 2x full jump assault troops 2x melta. 1x full jump assault troops 2x flamer. 5x tactical marines (free to flesh out). 5x optional jumpers (various special CCWeapon choices). HQ figs, plenty of. 16x dreads + Contempter (furi's, fragi's, DC's, Ven, Lib, LC/ML's, basic and Rifleman types) Mech: 2x Land raiders, Twin Las RB, 4x Rhinos. No flyers, no bikes, no other tanks.
