Kol Saresk
But in Fallen Angels, he has hexagrammic wards tattooed into his skin and wants to control a daemon while breaking away from Terra's rule. Entei
I haven't read Fallen Angels yet, but then it seems like there is conflicting canon or it takes place after Grey Angel. facmanpob
I haven't read Fallen Angels yet, but then it seems like there is conflicting canon or it takes place after Grey Angel. Fallen Angels takes place about 2-3 months after Istvaan III, so just at the beginning of 008 M31. Istvaan V happens shortly after the events of Fallen Angels. Not sure where Grey Angels fits into the timeline though.... Greyall
Although, I'm not sure the Lion would divert to Caliban unless he needed reinforcements before heading to Terra. Kol Saresk
From what I heard, Corswain's forces suffered some serious losses in By the Lion's Command and was redirecting to Caliban to replace those losses. That's all hearsay though. Dumah
Corswain was not in Call of the Lion; it was the first DA short story in the Heresy and centered around Chapter Masters Belath and Astelan, highlighting increasing tensions between the Calibanite and Terran Legionaries. I think you're confusing titles, perhaps? Kol Saresk
Most definitely. I know it's something that was published recently and as I said, from my point of view, mostly hearsay. Brother-Sergeant Bohemond
Jonson only has 20k Astartes on Macragge, if he fights the NL at Sotha (or w/e it is called) which is rumoured to be a regroup point for part of the Legion, he may decide he needs reinforcements before going on to Terra. And the delay would be significant...and make the DA even more pissed. Imagine, thinking that the ONLY reason for the Emperor's death was because a chunk of your own brothers turned on you without warning when you were getting ready to run for Terra, and they made your Primarch and Lord disappear. I'd be Unforgiven level mad. Augustus
Corswain is not headed for Caliban. He sends a chapter master B-something to commandeer some ships on his Authority and pick up reinforcements from Caliban. --"By the Lion's Command" Kol, the "Call of the Lion" is about Astelan. By the Lion's Command, okay, that explains why it clicked wrong in my head. And someone else is going? Interesting. Means I heard it wrong, but interesting. The first Traitors' shots won't even be heard. Greyall
the original post forgot to mention the DG, isnt Morty supposed to fall to Nurgle on the way to Terra? Well pointed, brother. Death Guard added, including both the tragic trip to Terra and the latest revelations from 'Scars'. On the Dark Angels meeting the Night Lords in Ultramar, the bats might not be the only visitors. Incoming Russ, most likely.
