The New FW Erebus and his arms

I like everything about the new FW Erebus except for his biker gloves and gnarly nails. (WRAWR, I will SCRATCH your power armor to death and they won't even fall off in the vacuum of space or get shot off by the first bolter shell or burned off by the first flamer. Whatever).

 

So I'd like to buy the model (and his buddy KP of course), but I will be doing either a hand swap or a whole arm swap. So question, are his shoulder pads separate from his arms, or are they all together? I know at least a couple people here bought him already...
