Apothecary Vaddon
In Unremembered Empire we have the reverse, a loyalist "traitor" Word Bearer, though it sounds like he was already introduced somewhere I missed. Seems like he's less on the good guy's side and more on the "Kill Lorgar" side. He debuted in Vulkan Lives, the two representations of him do deviate imo and he's not really loyalist, he just hates what the Word Bearers have become. I felt like he hated his Legion in VL, but we never really knew why. UE cleared it up for me - in that he's loyalist in the sense that he has this incredibly stupid idea that he can save his legion just by killing Lorgar, and that the Word always made them loyal to the Emperor (he says as much to the two termies who help him teleport to Macragge). At least Ahriman was going to go all Stargate and turn back time... Kol Saresk
Yeah, that's the problem. In Vulkan Lives, it's that he didn't hate his Legion, just what it was becoming. He fully supported the Heresy, just not the bowing down to Chaos. But then we get Unremembered Empire where he becomes Loyalist but hates the Loyalists and just wants to purify his Legion. Greyall
Hmm...When he first talks to the two possessed Word Bearers, he mentions loyalty to the Emperor in his 'stunningly-truthful' speech, though.
