Sons of the Lion

Greetings Brothers

With a lot of lore coming out for the Dark Angels recently, including named characters I would like to suggest that we set up a resource for ourselves and anyone who seeks to learn about the Dark Angels of those named Brothers, which books they are introduced in, companies they serve in and whether they are still living or dead.

We can separate this into two parts, one for the Chapter and one for the Legion.

Is this something you would be interested in doing? I would like to kick it of (if someone could make me a fancy table code too would be much appreciated!)

The feast celebrates the founding of the Chapter by Lyyn Elgonsen at the beginning of the Imperial Crusade. Honored as the first Marine Chapter they were founded by the Emperor. Within the Chapter the title of the Dark Angels’ leader is Custodian, an honor which acknowledges the Emperor as the Chapters true leader. The Cup of Retribution used in the ritual is said to be the cup that the Emperor drank from at the time of the Chapters founding. Each warrior adds a drop of their blood to the Cup which is then mixed with barrels of wine, which is then passed to all members of the Chapter to drink. It is considered a bad omen if a long campaign or sudden battle delays the feast. Rogue Trader rulebook pg. 138
