Emperor's Furor
Video here explaining it, what do you think? Brother Captain Lucian
Damm, I was to slow :p I'm considering this a must have on my shelf.. Next to all the FW HH books.. and Primarchs... and Legions... Greyall
I have the old Visions books. In art terms, I don't think the addition of Neil Roberts' pieces make it worth it for me. As for the fluff, I prefer the novels for that one. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/282119-visions-of-heresy/#findComment-3499578 Share on other sites
The_son_of_Dorn
LOL at £150 they can JOG ON! I'll wait t read the one that's printed on toilet roll, that's more my price zone. Beautiful artwork though! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/282119-visions-of-heresy/#findComment-3499598 Share on other sites

As for the fluff, I prefer the novels for that one. This. As I recall, the old version was something like one fifth the price. Beautiful artwork though! Really? I just placed pre-ordered it for $50, in US dollars. Grim Dog Studios
Looks fantastic, think I might wait until the regular edition comes out though! I can't justify spending £150 on a book :( Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/282119-visions-of-heresy/#findComment-3499744 Share on other sites
depthcharge12
I think they put the hefty price tag on there because they work with the US gov't in the war against drugs. I mean, the only people that could buy this would be a drug lord. Conn Eremon
So what's the full difference between Black Library and Amazon? Amazon's looks a lot smaller, appears to be only one book, but it isn't specified which of the two or if both are included, or what. One thing's for sure, Amazon's a lot cheaper and a lot later released. Emperor's Furor
The ones Black Library have up are the hard back collectors edition, made the same as FW HH books, which is two books, when you divide it by two then it makes a bit more sense, I don't think the books though are worth as much as the FW ones though. Conn Eremon
Thing is, it doesn't say which one it is. It's just "Visions of Heresy," which is the name for both. And the image is of the whole duel, not focused on the Emperor or Horus, like the individual books are. Conn Eremon
It appears to be that on Amazon, sadly neither descriptions specify this. Its release date is in April, and it's about a third of the price, over here in the US. Noctus Cornix
Its not just one book, its two put inside a hard slipcase. Over all, looks like its some damn good quality. Additions of Horus Heresy covers along with artwork from the Forgeworld books. That and an indepth timeline aswell as an index is pretty sweet if you ask me. Extremely expensive, yes but I think the price is justified for what you're getting. Additions of Horus Heresy covers along with artwork from the Forgeworld books. That and an indepth timeline aswell as an index is pretty sweet if you ask me. Extremely expensive, yes but I think the price is justified for what you're getting. Now if only I could afford it. But alas, by the time I can, it'll be gone. Why can't they just do like Forgeworld with the IA and HH books and just leave it up there? Can't imagine them flying off the shelf with that price. Conn Eremon
It's starting to drive me nuts. What is the difference in content between Amazon's and Black Library's?
