Sicaran Battle tank info

So, i thought the new massacre book came out, and there have been rumors of a regular space marine Relic book in a discussion about the Fire Raptor. So, i might ask, what does this battle Tank do? i really like the design. also, how many points is it compared to another heavy?

I'll try to keep things vague enough that I don't step on any toes, but I'll pass on what I've scoured from the web (I don't actually have my book yet, either).

The main turret gun is a heavy 6 twin-linked autocannon with rending.  It also ignores jink saves.  13/12/12, fast vehicle.  The points cost is around that of a trilas predator.  Heavy bolter or lascannon sponson options.

Basically, it is what it says on the tin.  A main battle tank with an accurate, fast-tracking main gun.  I kinda wish it had 14/13/12 and slightly higher strength (or better AP) for the main gun, even if it meant it cost more.  As it stands, I still want at least one.  Probably two.

it does seem to be half way between the baal pred and the land raider - what with the speed/weapon types of the former (48" super asscannon? hell yeah!) and the increased armour/weapon layout of the later.

Shame it lacks some of the customisation of the HH book 1 vehicles but it is a beaut.

The biggest problem with the Sicaran is that it sits in an FOC slot that makes me weep with how many cool options there are.....

I currently want to run:

Heavy Support Squads

Predator Squadron

Medusa

Spartan

Caestus

and a Sicaran

but I can't fit them all into an FOC.... sad.png

Oooo, i like this tank a lot. Hope regular 40k can get it too! it can keep up with bikes pretty well i think.

So, it's a tripple lascannon predator with nothing else on it, like upgrades? and it's fast, plus has a really cool autocannon.

I think it was mentioned as being in IAv2,2E:WMotAA. And even if it wasn't, I'd put good money on it being there now that the Relic of the Armoury rule exists.

I think the tri-las Predator mention is regarding the Sicaran's base cost (probably without sponsons).

The rules will be out soon, be patient!

Points wise it is the Base Cost which is roughly a trilas pred - sponsons are same sorta price as regular pred ones.

All in all something I'm likely to take unless I'm taking Preds (Executioners and Magna Meltas are wonderful) or Spartans :)
