The boater
Good evening Gents, I began this project a few months ago and as the topic title would indicate, there is two more parts. I am placing it into the hall of honor though because it is a completed model. This is also my first post to the BnC despite being a lurker for a long time. I am just not getting the kind of feedback I want from my own painting community (or the folks for that matter) So please criticize as you see fit, as it will be much appreciated. Thanks, The Boater http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a544/jemlohr/image_zpse6e74035.jpg http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a544/jemlohr/image_zps28e6d54f.jpg http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a544/jemlohr/image_zpsbca416a0.jpg http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a544/jemlohr/image_zps928e5979.jpg http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a544/jemlohr/image_zps97336637.jpg Thanks for viewing. The boater
Thanks gents, Yeah I was hesitant to do the purple, but now that it's done I think it looks good. Thanks, The Boater
Yosef Hausakluif
the sword came out great and the little detail of blue and yellow on the back tech parts of his armor is a nice touch to, draws the eye, but not in a bad way at all. Not your fault, but I wish the sculpt of some of the FW faces was better.... The red on the shoulder guards is great too, almost looks like a blood color when it gets into the shade portion! constructive wise, maybe another dark wash on the inside of the power fist/L. claw and tighten up of make more sharp the lines and mirroring on the sword blade. The boater
Admittedly the sword blade was an experiment, so I'm not to sure how you mean by tighten it up (I normally just pant em silver and get over it) I completely agree on the faces with forge world. They put so much detail and then they forget about the emotion. The new Ferrus Manus model is the only one that I like the face on (shame really considering he gets the off with his head treatment :P ) -The Boater Edit: typo
