I can't make the call that you can or can't make it because I don't have my Imperial Armour volume on me that has the rules for the storm eagle or not. We can however take the new gunship version. Or you could take an allied contingent from the space marine codex and take it as part of the allied FOC. The Storm Eagle was released when only us and the GK had access to the Raven, and I reckon that's the reason we don't have it. Now that the Raven is made available for almost everyone, I think we should have access to the Eagle too. Maybe we should harass Forge World via emails to get this fixed? Maybe we are getting featured in an upcoming Imperial Armour book, and get a Storm Eagle variant of our own? Terrahawk Posted October 29, 2013 Share Posted October 29, 2013 Well bros, you know that is because our Codex doesn't have the Red Thirst rule for our Independent Characters. Even Mephiston doesn't have it. Fluff-wise, all BAs suffer from the Thirst to a certain degree, however it's usually temporary. When it's coupled with the Black Rage however, that's a different deal.
