KGatch113
Let's say you take Belial with a Deathwing squad and attach Marneus or Lysander to it. Since those characters don't have the DW Assault rule I would presume you lose that ability. Would they still not have to roll for scatter when they come in, via reserves???? Sorry is this is in the wrong spot. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/282560-deathwing-usrs-with-non-da-ic-in-terminator-armor/ Share on other sites
Cactus
I can't check my codex right now but IIRC the Deathwing Assault rule specifies 'models with terminator armour and the Inner Circle rule'. Characters from other chapters don't have Inner Circle so you're correct, they and any squad they join cannot use Deathwing Assault. Lysere
If the rule requires all models to have it to work then you would lose it. However if the rule is granted because a single model has it (Belial makes them not scatter if I remember right) then the unit will keep it. Also as far as the twin-linked on deepstrike thing goes I think everyone except the newly attached character will still have it but I don't own that dex so not entirely sure on wording. FerociousBeast
"Units entirely composed of models that have both this special rule and Terminator armour can choose to make a Deathwing Assault." -page 44 Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/282560-deathwing-usrs-with-non-da-ic-in-terminator-armor/#findComment-3507627 Share on other sites
