Crazy Jay Posted November 2, 2013 Share Posted November 2, 2013 Figured I'd post both in 1 thread. 1) Is a flyer assumed to be a zoomer unless it specifically has the hover USR? 2) Can a unit with a rapid fire weapon (Dark Angel tactical Squad with all bolt guns) opt to not Rapid fire even if their target is within 12 inches? tvih Posted November 2, 2013 Share Posted November 2, 2013 1) If it doesn't have Hover in its unit type, then yes, it can only zoom. 2) If you fire with the boltguns, you have to use rapid fire if you are in range for that. If for some reason you don't want to Rapid Fire but fire a single shot instead within 12", in the case of Tactical marines you can just fire their bolt pistols instead. Hymirl Posted November 3, 2013 Share Posted November 3, 2013 1 is answered, but I can expand on 2. You dont 'rapid fire' a boltgun, you simply fire it and use the number of shots appropriately.
