Only when it's 37•c and your trying to lay fresh sewer pipe in a 3m deep trench or when your building roads working hot bitumen

I'm a welder by trade.

The only people I feel sorry for are road crews. So there u have my sympathy.

Yeah brother I've got your back there, hot shops are horrible hell I try stay as far away from the oxy torch as it is.

But all those things sewer storm water roads electrical cables fiber optic traffic signals. Those items that make life easier for everyone out there everyday making sure that all you taxpayers can also throw abuse at us for doing road works etc.

That's why I love my job;)

@Ludo The sky blue pad and arm are a reference to pre Primarch Iron hands.  In Massacre it mentions that the Iron Hands where unofficially known as 'Storm Walkers' and their tactic known as raising the storm.  The name was phased out after Ferrus rejoined the legion, just thought it would be a nice touch.

Evening all.

Nothing overly exciting this month.

squad Nafriel.

Tactical squad with Plasma Cannon, Plasma Gun, Plasma pistol and Thunder Hammer.

considering the new tactical boxes only come with one heavy weapon (the missile launcher), where do you find minis for the other options? Do I need to buy a devastator set just for the weapons?

November vow complete, and here are the final photos for assembled not-Coteaz:

Inquisitor Roth Savarin during the Geledos Crusade

Location Unknown, Presumed Denzaar Sector, Possibly Aethar IV

And of course, as soon as I hit "Preview Post" I realize the rock that's actually a part of Coteaz's foot needs highlighting. *Sigh*

@grey paladin unless you'd said i wouldn't have noticed and to be honest, it really doesn't detract from the model. good minis that are great to look at, and i love your fluff. very...40k 'espionage'-esque i think is the only way to describe it. basically it fits the ]I[ very well. looking forward to more to be honest. love the sisters' hair too, very defined and natural looking.

BattleBrotherJohn has had to step out the Tale for personal reasons, so his name shall be stricken from the list. However, since we're already one month in, I will not be accepting any new participants. We'll just roll with the Frater that we currently have :)

Paladin they are looking pretty sweet, just hope I can slip a nurgle blade into that cuirass smile.png

Mikey brother if I had a spare thunderhawk she'd be in ceramite and green biggrin.png

Not some pansy blue and red

Can't argue with that logic I suppose, except for the pansy bit. :P

Paladin - Not-Coteaz looks fantastic. I also didn't notice the rock untill you mentioned it. His base is great though and that little rock is easily fixed. :)

Just a couple more WiP shots of models.

A closer one of the librarian

Currently his best side.

Now my vigilator.

Took the photos last night, hence the rubbish quality. Wanted to try something a little different with my Vigilator, try and have him as a pre Primarch veteran (which is part of the reason for the greater amount of metallic paint).

This is part of the reason I'm having problems writing fluff for them as a 40k army at the moment, so much of my mind is stuck in 30k.

Still working on getting the requested close up shots, but for this post here's my upcoming squad for the month. Aguilars of San Salvacion led by the Veteran Sgt. Jordan who wields a thunder hammer, a close combat specialist who wields a pair of lighting claws, a heavy weapons specialist with a heavy flamer, and finished off with a pair of chainfists (possibly some combi weps)

So here they are in all their resin gated glory, I'm a little dissapointed I won't be using the storm shield. But I guess that just means boarding shield for my forge lord or something ;)
