Another day, another update, fairly simple stuff, painting up the black and silver coats.

Evening all, so this is what I've been working on so far. I'm using a the praetorians and mordians as veterans squads. The praetorians represent a squad for the first company and the mordians are Marines from the imperial navy. So here are the praetorians so far;

Now that work is slowly receeding after the new year massacre I can finally get back on target. Plus now that I finally have the drill bits I need the magnetizing is also a go. If all goes according to plan the Sternguard shall be completed by the weekend

Depending on how deep I want the shadow it's usually either Badab Black or Drakenhoff Nightshade. Rarely I use Casandora, but I don't think it'll go on this model. As for weathering, I may do a very subtle bit, I'm usually not prone to it, and my Forge Lord has spent the majority of the trip rebuilding the thing, so I figure he's given it a new lick of paint and some body work on their way to the warzone :p

Tomorrow's graft shall consist of highlighting and prep'ing the arm combos to have the magnets glued and fingers crossed they're finished saturday

That;s the main part over and done with, just the arms and the magnets now. Some feedback on the gold would be welcome, tried that golden gryphon dry paint, quite like it tbh
