Hey guys,

 

It's us again with another Warhammer 40k Project.

This time it's going to be a cool Raven Guard army.

Atm I'm a bit late to the party the army is far in it's progress,

but the beginning of this log will be more filed with content so I guess its a good thing.

 

Ok so the army list is:

 

Shadow Captain

Vanguard(5)

Assault Marines (15)

Tactical Marines (20)

Devastator Marines (10)

Scouts (20)

Drop pods (2)

Land Speeders (2)

Venerable and Ironclad Dreadnoughts (1+1)

 

A lot of Jump packs and Fast striking troops i like that ^^.

It's another one of those cool lists that fit the character of the chapter.

Hm.  I'm not sure about zenithal highlighting for black, at least on infantry.  I feel like you risk losing a lot of detail in the shadowed recesses- detail which you would be able to see if you were painting with color.

 

I hate you and your damned pristine whites :lol:  Speaking of which, I would go for a much lighter complexion on the bare headed guy.  Raven Guard gray-scale albinism and all that.

How did you do those cloaks on scouts? They look great!

Will have to ask Kasia may be she will do a tutorial on that some day.

Emperor's undies! These are censored.gif amazing! Cannot wait to see more!

Hehe they give some contrast to the otherwise black Scouts.

That Shrike conversion with the wings...I have no words.

Awesome comes to mind ^^ The Team has given a new look on this chapter fro me. And to think i really called the Raven Guard boring.

Giving RG dreadnoughts beaky helmets is GENIOUS!

Thanks. We gave every one the beaky helmet. Do you think that having them on the Tactical squad is ok too ?

Love what you've got going on smile.png. Only peeve is a stylistic one: studded shoulder pad on the right?ohmy.png

Should it be the other way around ?

Lovely Raven Guard your teams painted Brovatar. My only knitpick is with the assault marine guy with really big wings. I think the terminator claws are just too big for him and it doesn't really do such a great model and paintjob justice. Just my opinion though.

It should. The mark VI armor had the studded pad on the left for added protection. The idea was when firing your bolter left across your chest pointed at the enemy, their shots would be absorbed by the studded pad.

Love the free hand stuff. :)
