Baal preds 13 front AV is hard to deal with. In a large game with multiple FOC, I could see an escort of attack bikes for my baal preds, but they are pretty efficient at anti-infantry, even rending against high AV. Popping up right behind a tau gun line with a st.6 ap 3 template, your killing almost everything.I've hardly used them, but they do have their place when outflanking. To be honest I've only used one with flame storm it hurt his army big time and was made a priority target from then on So I was asking about best armament to run three which should take his mind off my DC coming his way for a turn (I can hope) one running up scouting (as a priority target) two outflank Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Sanguine Eternal Posted November 11, 2013 Share Posted November 11, 2013 Yeah, the sponsons are hugely important on our preds. That's what gives us the scary amount of firepower that we can lay down. The points aren't THAT bad. I always carry the storm bolter on their as well. 12 SHOTS! SHOTS! SHOTS! SHOTS! SHOTS! SHOTS! per turn per pred.When it comes down to having a weapon destroyed as well, having those extra weapons on their to help randomize it goes a long way. Just thought that having 3 hull points that can be lost in one turn of shooting would mean I lose a lot of fire power in one go.
