The Forgotten - Echoes from the Darkness

Brothers! I've approached you with a start for a story-line, involving my newest creation, the Fallen Angels of the Dark Angels legion's 17th Hunter-Knight company.

The 17th were assembled mostly from the original knights from the Order protecting the Caliban from the beasts inhabiting the dark woods there. After the Founding, the 17th were assigned for aggressive recon missions, using their adaptive tracking methods and incredible riding skills to their fullest.

Their mission ended however, on the day the Lion ordered Luther back to Caliban. Little is known what was their role from that on but what is certain is that they were lost from this world on the day that destroyed Caliban.. Be it from the hands of the Fallen before Lion's arrival or were they sucked into the Warp, they were lost and soon, forgotten..

Recently however.. An odd recording has repeated itself on an ancient emergency frequency for all imperial fleets garrisoned close to the Eye of Terror. A recording so quiet and unclear that no one has been been able to figure it's message so far.. However, every day the signal grows stronger and every day, more words are recognized from a voice, strong and full of hatred..

"Traitors..

In the end, it was us who were betrayed..

The Lion.. Abandoned us..

The Order.. Forgotten us..

I've seen the faces of the Dark Ones.. I've strode through the very pits of hell..

And for years we've waited under their gaze.. For decades, our hatred has grown amidst these vortexes of insanity.. For centuries our curses have echoed through the emptiness of the void..

But finally, we're reached our destination.. Finally we will get the answers hidden from us.. Finally we will get the justice that was denied from us..

Finally, after ten thousand years, we've returned home..

You forgotten us once.. We will make sure that no one won't, ever again.. You called us traitors once.. We will show you.. The true face of the Unforgiven!"

- Castellan Gabriel Helicos, Master of the 17th Hunter-Knight Company
