Axagoras Posted November 11, 2013 Share Posted November 11, 2013 If a model has a bolt pistol and a bolter can they trade the pistol for a special weapon (assuming they have access to it)? Bryan Blaire Posted November 11, 2013 Share Posted November 11, 2013 It doesn't matter what a weapon is treated as, it matters whether the rule states you can trade a bolt pistol for the weapon. Lysere Posted November 11, 2013 Share Posted November 11, 2013 Special weapons require Melee weapons or a bolter to trade. Bolt pistols are listed in the codex as Ranged weapons.
