Zeuspro
HI Guys, Ive got an old Landspeeder cheap, which im stripping and re-doing however there are two pieces missing. The look to both be flat bits so I think I can make replacements from plasticard. Has anyone got one of these that they can measure the sizes from and let me know as the picture I have (from Codex:Ultramarines) Isn't to scale. Its the two parts ive circled in red. Thanks. http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c307/zeuspro/missing.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/283212-old-landspeeder-measurements/ Share on other sites
Cactus
Yes. The stabiliser fin is a fraction under 39mm high and the foot plate is 29mm by 21mm. I have the same page in Codex: Angels of Death and various catalogues. The images are 1:1 scale so you can check measurements on that. Let me know if you want photos from other angles. Note that the circle on the foot plate is the hole for the flying stand. Cactus
I'm glad that my bad habit of not assembling my models and filling my bookcase with old catalogues has proved useful! Brother Cambrius
Not just me missing the tail piece then? I built one out of plasticard to replace mine, I'll see if I can get it measured for you.
