Inquisitor, why are you not adding one?

Here is my recent Revelation. Liber Heresius Artifact. Gives a basic Inquisitor Scouts in the first turn.

 

So this 25 point HQ (+15 Artifact) can grant scouts to any unit in your army he joins. So what if they cant be in a transport. You can outflank ANY unit in your army.... (Cough/Cents/Cough)

 

Can you imagine Centurion Devastators outflanking and getting Prescience?

 

Talk about a death star. haha.

OK. Inquisitors are too good. There is no reason for not taking them. They boost Deep Strike, blast weapons, shooting weapons in general, tarpit units, close combat units. They also prevent scouting and infiltration. For ~30 pts. In almost any army. They bring incredible variety of Special Rules. I gave it a shot and tried to find a reason for excluding them from my lists.

I play Salamanders. Lots of flamers. No need for Prescience. I use no blasts and my enemy does not scout or infiltrate. And I don't Deep Strike. Therefore no need for Servo Skulls. Oh, and I don't have tarpit units, just flamers and meltas - already twin-linked. So, why shall I take an Inqiusitor?
