Brother Christopher
Neat job. They look great in the picture. I've got just one question (because I'm not sure if what I see is right; and I never noticed it earlier): does the guy with the meltagun have a, what seems to look like, halberd blade attached to the nozzle of the gun? Brother Icculus
Neat job. They look great in the picture. I've got just one question (because I'm not sure if what I see is right; and I never noticed it earlier): does the guy with the meltagun have a, what seems to look like, halberd blade attached to the nozzle of the gun? I was going to ask the same thing. Can we get a closeup on that guy? and I like the imperial guard neophytes. Looks cool Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/283488-the-castigatus-crusade/page/2/#findComment-3583018 Share on other sites
Netsu
Thanks guys, and yes, it's a WFB halberd blade attached to his melta :) What's the use of a weapon if you can't cut a person in half with it? Brother Icculus
What's the use of a weapon if you can't cut a person in half with it? I have never felt anything was worthy of a signature. But that... that speaks to me. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/283488-the-castigatus-crusade/page/2/#findComment-3583359 Share on other sites
Netsu
Happy I could be of some use Icculus :D Sorry for the long wait, but here are some crappy phone close-ups of the melta guy: http://i.imgur.com/3LUwbSVs.jpg http://i.imgur.com/44shk3cs.jpg Excuse the painting and modelling, it's a really old marine. In other news, here's my fast attack :) http://i.imgur.com/35IWamls.jpg http://i.imgur.com/AbOynCDs.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/283488-the-castigatus-crusade/page/2/#findComment-3618702 Share on other sites
Brother Icculus
So I was really nervous about using such a bright color to highlight edges with. I used a dark grey on a few of my models and thought they looked cool, but I think the brighter grey or even white looks so much better. You have inspired me to give it a shot. Once I get a chance to sit down at my paint table again I will give this a go. Netsu
Darker greys might look better up close, but I like how fortress grey makes the details visible even across the gaming table.
