Chapter tactics for DIYs

I know the Liber isn't for rule development, but that's not what I'm after here.

Has anyone other than me given thought to how your DIYs fluff could translate into chapter tactics. Not necessarily translated directly to rules just concepts or cool names. As such...

Chapter Tactics: Sons of Creightos

Unyielding Fury: The Sons are known for relentless assaults. They display the same cold brutality and fiery wrath for which their primarch Ferrus Manus was known.

CT: Red Lords

From Purity, Strength:

Preferring to scourge the weaker enemies from their sight with the use of Whirlwinds and other artillery, the Red Lords are famed for their use of heavy weapons. (Insert cool rules for blowing extra stuff up on your first turn with artillery and certain heavy weapons or something)

CT: Infinity Knights

Honour Beyond Death:

Venerating the ancient Dreadnoughts of the Chapter, as well as the marines entombed therein, the Infinity Knights are known to focus their tactics around using the great armoured machines to strike a killing blow against unprepared or weakened enemies. (Insert cool rules for getting bonuses to various attributes within so many inches of a Dreadnought or something)

CT: Steel Dragons

Ruthless Agression:

The Steel Dragons do their best work alone, as it means those less dedicated to absolute battlefield efficiency cannot interfere with their plans. A force engaged by the Steel Dragons faces an unrelenting wave of precisely ordered annihilation. (Insert cool rules about reserve management and increased movement speed if you have no allied detachment or something)

CT: The Stonebound

Unrelenting Force:

The Stonebound's methodical approach to warfare may make them slower than many other sons of the Khan, but no less deadly. Tanks, terminators and the Ironbound mingle with bikes, land speeders and assault squads to create an advancing wall capable of meeting any threat. (Insert cool rules about fast attack and heavy support units within so many inches of each other gaining some kind of armour bonus or reroll saves or something)

EDIT EDIT:

That was actually pretty good fun, although I wouldn't like to try and come up with actual rules.

CT: Sons of =][=DELETED=][=

=][=DELETED BY THE INQUISITION=][=:

The Sons of =][=DELETED=][= are known for their =][=DELETED=][=, which can alter =][=DELETED BY THE INQUISITION=][= at a moment's notice. Enemies caught unaware are usually =][=DELETED=][= with =][=DELETED BY THE INQUISITION=][= and traditional =][=DELETED=][=. (Insert cool rules about =][=DELETED BY THE INQUISITION=][= or something)

Not really, but now you've mentioned it...

The "Strike from the Shadows" (Raven Guard) rule suits my DIY Chapter, along with something to represent their emphasis on destroying command & supply structures?

I really haven't given it much thought.

The Blades:

Brutal Reprisal

With an attitude that sees rebellion and sedition as the ultimate offence, the Blades have made a habit of ruthlessly, and some would say needlessly, destroying not just their enemies, but also non-combatants that aided or didn't directly oppose such traitors. Tactics lend themselves to the brutal press of melee, before cutting down both enemy and perceived enemy.

The Sons of Lightning:

Lightning Strikes Only Once

The Sons of Lightning teleport, drop-pod, and Thunderhawk directly to the most entrenched enemy and the most dangerous foes. The strike with the speed and precision of a lightning bolt and disappear just as quickly, removing threats in an instant.
