gundog8324 Posted November 19, 2013 Share Posted November 19, 2013 So, I like the Idea of Lascannon Devastators with a Libby on top of a Bastion with an Icarus as part of a Belial Bomb army, the question is do I use our own Devs or do I bring some Imperial Fists in as Allies for tank hunter+Prescience for double rerolls. The tax of an Allied HQ, (the troops I consider inconsequential because their troops are pretty similar to ours) I probably would use Scouts in a Storm to outflank and be fairly cheap or a 5man Tac Squad with a Flakk missile. Now there are other goodies Codex Marines get that I could make room for, Grav Command Squads, Storm Talons, Sternguard. (I will abandon 40k before I buy a Centurion), So I just thought I would ask the general consensus on is Tank Hunter Devs worth the allied tax? If it's for the allies. g ahead, but if it's simply for performace, you're spending too many point to increase something that's already good.
