Gorkimedes
So after reading loads of terrain blogs online I realized that I have the marines but I don't have the fortress-monastery. Now I don't have a huge amount of space so I figured I'd start small. For a few brief moments I contemplated using actual rocks... then I realized that was a terrible idea and one I'd have no clue on how to do. But according to the internet tree bark looks like stone. With that in mind I grabbed a cup , some plaster I had lying around and glue. This is what I was able to whip up. Now I couldn't just leave the top of the cup bare, that would look cheap! I think it came out ok. Still trying to figure out how to paint the bark. Might look better if the bark was closer together and there was less plaster. Gorkimedes
Thanks. Yea I think it looks pretty good, I've used bark for bases before but never anything that big. Working on a barricade. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/283863-makeshift-fortress-big-pics/#findComment-3532708 Share on other sites
Gorkimedes
Barricade is pretty much done. Going to have to look around and figure out how to make some barbed wire.
