Ming
You can see pix and battle report related thoughts on my blog at: http://defendersofcalth.blogspot.com/2013/11/standish-standoff-results-are-inultras.html Overall, I won 2 of the three games, and the list I had worked pretty well. The loss itself hinged on a bad run roll. It also showed that practice and more practice can be helpful in getting good games in. There were three rule related conundrums - one per game... 1. Blessings and maledictions are cast at the beginning of the turn. What happens to a buff that targets the psycher and the unit he is with, and then the psycher moves to a different unit in the movement phase? 2. Is the distance to a objective only measured horizontally? 3. Unless directed in a scenario rules, how many objectives can one unit claim? What if they were relic too? Overall, I had a great time, my only real complaint being not enough time to socialize! madman2980
First of all, congrats on several good games. 1. The psyker and the unit he cast it on continue to enjoy the effects of the power, and the psyker doesn't share the power with another unit by joining them. Pg. 39 of the rulebook, under independent characters and ongoing effects. 2. I would think that it would be measured vertically as well. On page 9 of the BRB it says that distances between models and other objects is measured from the closest point on one base to the closest point on the other base, though according to page 173 it says that technically you should determine where you measure from before the game with your opponent. 3. One. pg. 173 says that a scoring unit can only hold one at a time, and if it can hold 2, you tell your opponent which one it controls Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/283866-standish-standoff-tournament-report/#findComment-3532183 Share on other sites
