Molokai
If a sm scout is armed with a heavy bolter and embarked upon a landspeeder storm, is he able to fire if the speeder has moved because of the storms rules? I'm thinking no, but thought I'd check anyway. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/283908-scout-with-hb-firing-from-a-lss/ Share on other sites
Kierdale
See page 426 of the rulebook. Passengers can fire their weapons from the LSS because it is an open-topped vehicle. If the LSS were stationary the scout could fire at full BS. If the LSS moved at combat speed or Cruising Speed then, as a heavy bolter is a Heavy weapon, the scout could only fire Snap Shots (and no Hellfire Shell as it is a blast). Molokai
Yeah cheers Kierdale. I sort of worked it out as soon as I posted it. It was just wishful thinking on my part. A scoring twin hb speeder! Ha! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/283908-scout-with-hb-firing-from-a-lss/#findComment-3533008 Share on other sites
Disruptor_fe404
The Scouts would have to jump out to score. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/283908-scout-with-hb-firing-from-a-lss/#findComment-3533141 Share on other sites
Molokai
Pseudo scoring my friend. I realize the scouts need to disembark to score. The entire plan is moot anyway. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/283908-scout-with-hb-firing-from-a-lss/#findComment-3534681 Share on other sites
