You know, you could have just bumped your previous thread. We also have a forum for army lists which might get you some more mileage...

 

With the pedantic comments out of the way, do you know what you'll be facing? How many Super Heavies will be on the opposing side? Who/what is on your side? What else do you have in your collection? Are you able to proxy, etc? (although probably a bad idea in Apocalypse...)

 

When I play Apocalypse, I go for the "go big or go home" approach. So my Predators have all Lascannons, my Stormraven also has Lascannons, etc. I find that Super Heavies do the job of shifting troops so my regular guys need to deal with the armour. I have my armour and APCs rolling forward whilst my Devastators, Tacticals, etc, hold a base objective with Priests and Librarians with Shield of Sanguinius to look after them. Anything fast tend to go into reserve. I also tend to go nuts on my Death Company because I rarely get an opportunity to do so.
