jah-joshua
hey B&C... i finally got some better pics of Commander Dante, and have put him up for sale... i had a lot of fun trying out the glowing jump pack, and adding a red sheen to my gold... i also enjoyed all the wings and feathers... i really like painting white... i think that the Sanguinary Guard makes a more dynamic Dante than the stock mini... the winged jump pack is also too cool to pass up... here is the voting and auction link: http://www.coolminiornot.com/346479 and the paintjob: http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l266/jah-minis/forum%20pics/DfrontSM_zpsfc4bd6c0.jpg http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l266/jah-minis/forum%20pics/DsidegunSM_zpsfb724e66.jpg http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l266/jah-minis/forum%20pics/DbackSM_zpsd6cd386c.jpg http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l266/jah-minis/forum%20pics/DsideaxSM_zps75803a4f.jpg thanks for looking... i hope you like him... cheers jah

Castellan Cato
Is the lighting effect made using the new oxide paint? It looks really nice.

Son of Carnelian
Super impressive. That shade of gold simply dazzles. On an odd note, I love the base as well. Like he is standing on the precipice of one of the trenches on Armageddon during the Season of Fire.
jah-joshua
thanks guys... i really tried to push my basic tabletop standard with this guy... i know there is a lot of debate about what is, and isn't, tabletop standard, but for me, if it is on a game legal base, it is tabletop standard... i can't bring myself to paint to any lesser quality than i would for competition, just because someone can play with the mini... that is why plastics and varnish are great!!! plus, i feel the need to push myself with each mini... i hope the hard work and experiments pay off, to your eyes:)... @Castellon Cato: this guy was finished a few months ago, before the new paints came out... i use P3 paints... the glow was a progression from Cygnar Blue Base through Cygnar Blue Highlight, Arcane Blue, and Arcane Blue Mixed with Morrow White, up to pure white... there were a few glazes of Turquoise Ink between layers, to tie it all together... hope that helps... cheers jah
