I've been interested in 40k for about 8 months or so now and honestly I'm a noob when it comes the game. I'm working on a DA army and a Chaos army atm (neither of which have been painted) so I can play with friends as there's not a ton of games in my area. Still working on understanding all the rules but I think I have a good handle on the general rules. I know a lot about the universe of 40k nut when it comes to the game I'm still learning.
