Someblindmarineplayer
To give you some back story i used to have about 2500 points of crimson fists... when 6th came out i read the chaos marines codex and liked it so much i sold all of my marines and bought 2 dv boxes and converted everything to chaos. Shortly after i aquired some blood angels sanguinary guard and some space wolves long fangs which have all been converted to chaos with diffrent heads and/or sholderpads. At some point i picked up the IG codex and a russ battletank. Im using cultists as guardsmen. I figure thats pretty ok right? Heres the real question... marbo a traitor? Probably not... so how about an ork model to stand in for his profile. Its modeled with a big knife, a mean looking ork pistol, and what i believe is called a stick bomb. How do people feel about me running this lone ork as marbo. Also what sort of fluff would go along with this ork joining IG allies to legit traitor marines Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/284403-counts-as-fluff/ Share on other sites
Argun
I'd suggest, fluffwise, that a Chaos sorcerer somehow tricked the ork into joining them? Maybe he's just a lone ork mercenary, being paid in loads of loot for his version of a WAAAAAGH! ? WarriorFish
I think you should make him an Orky Marbo in fluff too. He's a kommando for hire and will sell his services to anyone if they can pay him in interesting dakka and gubbins. Someblindmarineplayer
Yes blood axe commando works... where did this come from? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/284403-counts-as-fluff/#findComment-3546057 Share on other sites
WarriorFish
Do you mean where the Blood Axes came from? The Blood Axes are an old ork clan like the Goffs, though I gather they're not really mentioned all that much these days but I don't think they've been removed. The Blood Axes were known for being more friendly to the Imperium and humans in that they'd trade and fight with them more often. This rubbed off on the Axes though so other orks don't trust them because they act a bit like the humies too much :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/284403-counts-as-fluff/#findComment-3547404 Share on other sites
