Morollan
Posted this in the GK section but might be more appropriate here: Question on Henchmen Warbands with Coteaz. The Inquisition Codex says: Lord of Formosa: If an Inquisitorial detachment includes Inquisitor Coteaz, all units of Inquisitorial Henchmen Warbands in the same detachment are scoring units, even if they are not from your primary detachment. Does this count even if I take them as allies to a codex that they are Desperate Allies with? Seems to be a Codex>Rulebook issue. Gentlemanloser
I'd agree it's Page 7 here. Codex > Rulebook. And the Inquisition book is a Codex... Page 7 needs to be expanded to cover supplement, expansions, compendiums and Dataslates... Disruptor_fe404
I like that it says '...in the same detachment', when it clearly means '...in your army'. Because it sort of reads like it's saying that all detachments are the same detachment even if they're different detachments. Which is pretty entertaining. Gentlemanloser
If it said "in your Army", then you could take a Codex: Inquisition Coteaz who would make the Elite Warbands in Codex: Grey Knights scoring. Disruptor_fe404
Ah, but how can he make 'Inquisitorial Henchmen Warbands in the same detachment' into scoring units 'even if they are not from your primary detachment.' ? EDIT: Wait I get it now. Hahah, brainfart. The rule is there so he can make them scoring regardless of which detachment (Inquisitorial, Allied, etc.) they are. hallodx
Inquisition can only be primary or inquisition detachment (correct me if I'm wrong). But unless you want to spam valkyrie or whatever, it's enough anyway.
