I've been collecting Space Marines since early 2000 and have been on a path of experimentation on what chapter and such to do, mainly I have been reading on Space Marine equipment and how each chapter handles certain situations which has led me to create a chapter themed around the 'Protectorate of Menoth" from the Warmachine series (that I am very fond of and remind me much of the Black Templar) and so I have set myself on a path to create this chapter. So to the test model! This captain model is my test mini an though it resembles the White Scars you will notice some color scheme differences throughout the log when I begin starting on the tacticals. The mini below is still incomplete (laurels, needs a few touchups, right arm needs power sword finished) but so far I am quite happy with the results, I also have tried to make a blue marble base. Unknown Chronicler Posted December 15, 2013 Author Share Posted December 15, 2013 @LongGone Thanks man I am very happy with the head as it came out just the way I wanted it! @Jaspcat I know and I promise this is a project I will stick with, I wrote an oath paper and had to swear it in my hobby center for the God Emperor @BattleBrother I know I must serve penitence by succeeding to finish this army (my local hobby store even made me create an oath of moment for this) and so now I'm stuck to this, which is exactly what I needed I'm working on some counts as Centurions for my army and I believe many of you will be familiar with them from the chaos stand point (Dan the Daemon, Brother Heinrich). Unknown Chronicler Posted December 15, 2013 Author Share Posted December 15, 2013 So m next unit is a counts as Centurion, it is going to be a Gunner w/ Grav-Cannon and Spotter which will be equipped with a wrist mounted target finder and Grav-pistol. Right now it isn't much but I finished the torso for the gunner and the Grav0cannon but need to do the arms and head to finish him off.
