Landspeeder Squadron: Shooting Question

The Yak

Recommended Posts

I have a dual melta Landspeeder and I am planning building another variant to be its little buddy.

Now I wanted clarification on how shooting works with regards to destroying a transport vehicle and then being able to shoot at the evicted squad.

EG: If my first LS (dual melta) destroys a rhino with its 2 shots, could a second LS armed with dual flamers target the squad or would this count as a separate target?

Im hoping to make the 2 fit together as I want them to only take up 1 fast attack slot.

Cheers

If they're the same squadron, they shoot all at the same time. So no, the second one could not target the squad after the first pops the transport.

Not while they're in the same squadron, anyway.

All models in a unit fire at the same target and at the same time.

Cheers

I thought that would probably be the case. Think Ill go with just a single multi variant to support it then.

Thanks Brethren

Well theres nothing wrong with having the flamer option, it often comes in handy- but think of it as an alternate firemode strategy wise *though for strategy we should really go to tactica*

Yup, all rolls to hit are going to be made first, then the armor penetration rolls, then the results.
