netminder69
Does anyone have any experience using acrylic interior paint on a mini? I have been trying to match a specific color, but I can't get reasonably close in any of the model paint ranges. The closest I've found is in interior paint. Looking for advice on thinning for airbrush use, etc. I'm trying to match the brown the Minotaurs chapter vehicles are colored, but can only find a good match in the interior paints. And I don't want to mix. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/284628-interior-acrylic-paint/ Share on other sites
averykess
I'd assume they be the same brownish metallic as their armor. Have you seen this tutorial on Minotaur power armor? http://taleofpainters.blogspot.com/2013/10/tutorial-how-to-paint-minotaurs-space.html (Unless you are going with the old school red and yellow color scheme.) Forté
It's not brown. It's bronze. The brown usually comes from the brown washes often used. Have a look over the Vallejo ranges of paints. Don't use the interior ones. It'll be too thick and will ruin your models.
