Minx Posted December 21, 2013 Share Posted December 21, 2013 We were commissioned by a local company, Shopify.ca, to paint an award created in the likeness of their CEO Tobi Lutke. We were given a 3d print to start with, but thge print was rough in shapes and so we had to smoothen the whole figure! The head turned out to be a bit bubbly and the eyes bugged out, so we ended up resculpting the head from scratch. Adding a banner and adjusting the pose, building a base, it all seemed to be necessary and so the project grew! We completed it in about 1 week, in time to award it to the eventual winner! It was a very fun change of pace project and I would love to do more of these sorts of projects!!!!
