il-Fieres Posted December 22, 2013 Share Posted December 22, 2013 If a Ravenwing Attack Squadron has an attack bike included in an army with Sammael, does this make the Attack Bike a Troop choice, for capturing objectives? On pg 101, the Attack Bike is included in the "Ravenwing Attack Squadron" box (unlike the Land Speeder) and the exact wording of the Grand Master of the Ravenwing: rule is "In a primary detachment that contains Sammael, Ravenwing Attack Squadrons are troop choices instead of fast attack choices." Unforgiven are not allowed to put the attack bike in a Force Organization Chart slot without being part of a RAS. shabbadoo Posted December 23, 2013 Share Posted December 23, 2013 The *Ravenwing Attack Bike* from a Ravenwing Attack Squadron taken as a *TROOPS* choice (due to Sammael being in the army) very much IS a Troops unit itself, even though it always operates separately from the rest of its unit. This separate *Ravenwing Attack Bike* meets all the requirements of being a Scoring unit, has no special rules stating that it is never scoring, and the FAQ does not include anything stating that it is not Scoring. Therefore, a Ravenwing Attack Bike that was purchased as part of a *TROOPS* choice Ravenwing Attack Squadron very much IS a Scoring unit, and Sammael can of course join it if he wants to.
