Models beneath Titan

Hey guys. Quick question, if a template was placed right above at center of a Titan, while there were some models between its legs, and the template was small, small enough not to touch Titan's foot if you see through Titan's body, what will that template hit?

It looks like this:

Is it

A ) Both Titan and the unit are hit, because the template covered them all anyway.

B ) Only Titan, because you can only see Titan from top of the template.

C ) Only that unit, because the template has to touch a "base" to make it a Hit, and the "base" of Titan, if none, would be it's foot.

I'd say that it would definitely hit the Titan (since templates/blasts work when over the Defiler, a baseless walker), but unsure if it would hit the unit below - sounds like something that would need houseruling!

B, just the titan. You look down over the template and see what you see.

It would hit the Void Shield.
