marshal seanisi
In HH book 2 Sevatar's Attacks cause instant death. He is armed with a Nostraman chainglaive. The AP value of this weapon is 3. Does this mean that Terminator armor with a 2 up save as normal or do they suffer instant death also. My thought was that normal power armor need to roll Invul saves and TDA roll normal 2 up. Looking for help on this one. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/284869-jago-sevatarion/ Share on other sites
Noctus Cornix
Causing instant death simply means that if it causes a wound, the model dies outright regardless of how many wounds he has. If he is in Terminator armour, he still gets his 2+ save against Sevatar's attacks but if he fails one of them, even a praetor is dead. depthcharge12
He only causes instant death in a challenge iirc Instant death is only applied once the enemy model has failed its armor save. Really that only concerns you when fighting multi wound models. spu00sed
Remember chain glaives have rending, so even terminator armour can sometimes be ignored. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/284869-jago-sevatarion/#findComment-3553080 Share on other sites
