3rd Company WIP Plog (Update-20th Feb)

So pretty much long story short, I played DA as my first army back in late 3rd early 4th ed.

A while back my young cousin bought the Death wing knights.

 

I had no clue he was into warhammer so I dug around and found some old troops and tanks for him.

 

After unfruitful attempts on his part at painting I offered my services which he jumped at.

I was hoping for feedback and tips as I haven't really looked up any recent DA info and just want to ensure I'm keeping them fluffy and well represented

i jest my friend. DA were my first serious army and i love the scheme you're doing with them. hope it works out to get your cousin into the 40k community, he should be inspired by your painting. real great job there fella. just could do with a couple more spikes is all i'm saying lmao. keep it up fella, i'm a fan of your work. very...'dirty' and grimdark, which is what i love.

can't really think f any critiques at this point as (as you say) they're WIP and still look awesome. HURRY UP AND FINISH THEM DAMMIT! would be probably about it t be honest.

Thoughts, hmm? looks like you're on the right track with it all. I will be watching as you add to this post. My only suggestion would be a brownish wash on the knight to help define the lines. Other then that, great.

I like your style. I find the edge highlights on the vehicles a bit harsh - but that could be the photography playing tricks.

 

The infantry models are just excellent both in how you've modelled and painted them.

 

Can't wait to see many more.

Thanks guys, last time I painted dark angels it was 10 years ago and it was pretty bad to be honest, I'm using tge iPhone so the photos don't do the models justice.
