Wulfebane
With my new airbrush, I'm looking to get a few paints that match some of Citadel's newer shades. My google-fu is fairly weak, so I'm having trouble finding a conversion chart for a select few of the new colors, specifically Eshin Grey and Zandri Dust. I've mixed some small batches, but with the cost per bottle, its unrealistic to make larger batches. I'd much rather find out if vallejo model air or badger minitaire (or equivalent) have a comparable color (and/or if anyone has a FULL conversion chart including all of the new paint colors). Kabbala
It's from DakkaDakka, but I've found this to be one of the most comprehensive and accurate charts: http://www.dakkadakka.com/wiki/en/Paint_Range_Compatibility_Chart Hope it helps! Wulfebane
I had managed to find that one, and it does help for most of the range, but my Wolves are based in Eshin grey, which the chart is lacking. If there's no comparison, then I'll try mechanicum grey, but thought I'd ask here first. Bung
You can easily thin the citadel colors to use them in your airbrush, so there is no real need for alternatives. But if you thin them i would recommend Tamiya X20a Thinner, which is based on alcohol. It works fine with every color brand i use like Armypainter, VMC, VMA, Citadel. Even the Base colors of the citadel range work if you thin them and use a 0,4 mm nozzle.
