So I have a couple of games scheduled for later today, one being against nids and the other against Dark Eldar. I have made the following list to hopefully deal with both. I have a really difficult time against nids and I have only beaten Deldar once. My list is as follows.

HQ

-Chapter Master w/ Burning Blade - 185

Troops

-10 Man Tac Squad w/ meltagun and multimelta - 160

-10 Man Tac Squad w/ Heavy Bolter - 150

-10 Man Tac Squad w/ Heavy Bolter - 150

-5 Man Scout Squad w/ 4 sniper rifles and missile launcher - 84

Elites

-5 Man Sternguard Squad - 120

     -Razorback w/ Assault Cannon - 75

-5 Man Sternguard Squad - 120

     -Razorback w/ Assault Cannon - 75

Fast Attack

-3 Attack Bikes w/ multimeltas - 165

Heavy Support

-5 Man Devastator Squad w/ 3 Plasma Cannons and Missile Launcher - 140

-5 Man Devastator Squad w/ 3  Lascannons and Missile Launcher - 155

-Stormraven w/ TL-LC, TL-MM, HBSS - 230

Total 1810

I can either add melta bombs to my Tac and Sterguard squads or give my Chapter Master TDA with the spare 40 points. Also if I am not facing any flyers I will have a spare 30 points without flakk missiles. Any comments or suggestions? I'd love to come out victorious against these nids for once.

I myself would take the Assault Cannons off the Razorbacks and get rid off the Attack Bikes and use Landspeeders instead.  I'm not sure on the points cost but I believe you would be able to have 3 Typhoons with Multimelta's and have all your points used.  I prefer H.Bolters on my Razorbacks I just like having the extra range and to me range equals more target selection/opportunity.

As for the Speeders they are my favourite FA unit that Marines have.  They can cover ground quickly.  They get a cover save through the Jink rule so long as they move.  With Typhoons on them it gives you again something I really like range, combine that with there mobility and it gives more of a chance to get missiles to a spot where they can do the most good/damage.  The last reason I like Speeders is that they can deep strike risky as this can be sometimes I still think of it as a plus.  Especially if you have an Infiltrated unit in the opponents backfield with a beacon.

Just my two cents.
