Welcome to the forum, Niteowl

I hate to ask but do you think you could possibly do me a MASSIVE favor and take a picture of him laid out still on the sprue and maybe one close up of his head? I've been really thinking of getting Lorgar when I scarf up the cash, but I had some plans for him with a minor conversion. I'd just like to see what parts he comes in. I would greatly appreciate it, man.

Good luck with your first resin. I did mine a little while ago and it can be daunting but believe me there are people on here who can answer any questions.

Have fun :tu:

No problems noctus cornix. Will these suffice?

The reason that some of the pieces arn't on the sprues is that they were broken when I got them.

So the weather finally allowed me to get out and give lorgar an undercoat.

I have started with his left leg. The picture is a bit blue toned but you get an idea of the grey tone I am using.

Sorry for the giant picture, I am on the phone.

Thanks helterskelter!

It's GW. Basecoating with warplock bronze then blending with Balthazar gold applying several thin layers up Untill pure Balthazar. Then I blend Balthazar with a 1:1 Mix of Balthazar and shining gold applying several thin layers up till pure 1:1 mix. After that I blend the 1:1 mix with shining gold applying several thin layers up Untill pure shining gold. Last but not least I blend shining gold with ironbreaker applying 2-3 thin layers for last touch.

The armour seems like a fairly white color, if you ask me. Is that intentional? The trim looks absolutely gorgeous though, from what I can see.

Might I make a small recommendation that you take pictures just a tad bit further from the model? The close distance makes it a little fuzzy and kinda hard to see what's going on in some pieces.

@noctus: oh thanks! I actually have no idea of how to take any good photographs. Your recommendation is most welcome and hopefully my next upload will show some improvement :)

And that is also why the armour looks quite white. In reality it has a more grey tone. It's complicated to explain. You will see it when I get some better photos.
