Plan-B
Hi everyone was just playing a game with my brother and we ran into a question we could not find an answer to. At the beginning of turn five the only things I had left were the remnants of two units which were both destroyed after his shooting phase. Now the only thing I have left on the table is Five drop pods. My question is would that be an auto loss or do the transports still count as models. I know there's a rule that if you have no models on the board at the end of a game turn you lose. Just wondering if the pods count or not. Thanks ! Disruptor_fe404
They are still models, and they still count. Not a good situation to be in though... Bryan Blaire
The Pods should count, as they are transports and therefore count as part of the unit they are purchased for, and they have Hull Points that must be removed for them to be destroyed. However, depending on how long he has left and what his army is armed with, you are very unlikely to be able to achieve a win. I would probably call the game there if that happened.
