Brother Grius
I've started up an allied force of Imperial Fists, Crimson Fists and Black Templars. I've painted a test model for the Imperial Fists. I used Nuln Oil over Yriel Yellow and was very unhappy with the results, especially in the second picture. I managed to clean up the look of the yellow by the third picture, and it is decent enough I don' think I'm going to strip it, but I definitely won't use the Nuln Oil on Yriel Yellow again unless I want it to look really grimy. I will do the final details on the model once I get the whole squad to that stage of painting. I wouldn't mind any tips from people who have experience painting Imperial Fists, since yellow is a bit hard to get right. Brother Grius
Got a second test model done. Also a comparison side by side. The second one looks comic-bookish, I like it better though.
