infyrana
I'm sorely tempted to slowly start a very small DG contingent, but I don't yet own the HH rules to know what is viable. I already own a DG Contemptor and some Mk III's that have yet to be built, and am hoping to add with a few more Mk III's and some of the DG termi models. But I've been looking at some Mk IV armour in the form of both the Destroyer and Reaver squads. The Destroyer squad speaks for themselves when it comes to DG. But those Reaver squad models and the SoH command unit are a nice different take on Mk IV. I'm curious to know if anyone has converted them to be used as non-SoH marines as Despoilers, or are the Chain axes and spiked Mk IV too prohibitive in their look to work as any other squads - especially given that I'm interested in DG? infyrana
Thanks for the feedback, great to know :) ...WE's were another consideration, but there aren't enough decent zerker looking units out there yet, but reavers come close. What unit did you assign them as ? (as said, no rules, and thought Reavers were SoH specific) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/285433-reaver-squad-models-good-for-more/#findComment-3565096 Share on other sites
GhostMalone
I used them as sgts, heavy support and tacticals. Just threw a couple in to break up squads. No special rules or anything just to break up armour marks Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/285433-reaver-squad-models-good-for-more/#findComment-3565144 Share on other sites

Olis
My forthcoming Imperial Fist 30k army (I know, I know, bandwagon) will have a smattering of the Reavers in it, although I've yet to decide whether to separate them out or not.
